The Arizona Diamondbacks have traded right-hander Edwin Quezada to the Seattle Mariners for an international bonus slot.

The amount of money moved in the deal isn't known, but international pool money can only be dealt in $250,000 increments.

The Mariners actively sought to add bonus pool money this past offseason as they pursued Shohei Ohtani. They added roughly $2.5 million in additional international funds through a series of deals.

The Tampa Bay Rays have acquired Jeremy Hazelbaker in a trade with the Arizona Diamondbacks.

The Rays are sending cash to the Diamondbacks.

To clear a spot for Hazelbaker on the 40-man roster, the Rays moved Jose De Leon to the 60-day disabled list.

Hazelbaker, 30, was designated for assignment last week.
